PUBLIC COMMISSIONS
Carole Waller welcomes commissions for indoor and outdoor public settings. Previous public projects have included hotels, spas, National Trust properties, schools, hospitals, arts centres, professional environments and design shows.
Carole is a painter who uses silk, linen, cotton and paper as her canvas. She also works with an etching process to produce semi-translucent fabrics which create shadows adn glow with colour. These large scale, unframed pieces can be hung against walls or in space.
Paintings on translucent silk are also laminated between sheets of toughened glass for installations, which can include sculptural outdoor pieces, water features, glass panels for doors, windows and screens or even kitchen splash-backs. These glass pieces can exist as free-standing artworks or incorporated in to the fabric of a building. The EVA resin laminated, safety glass panels offer high UV protection, sound insulation and long term durability.
