A square silk crepe scarf with images from Morocco – palm trees, bits of railing and tiles – and a lemon figure swimming – with black as the primary colour with pale yellow, lemon, flesh pink, grey and white. From the mid 1990’s.

Each garment and scarf by Carole Waller is unique. They are handpainted and screenprinted by me at my studio just outside Bath. I use my fabrics as unprimed ‘canvases’ and the paintings evolve as I work so no two pieces are the same. I welcome visitors anytime, by appointment. The studio and small showroom is at our home 4 miles east of Bath on the A4, with good parking and a warm welcome. Waller and Wood also shows beautiful stoneware ceramics by Gary Wood.
