Painted silk patchwork ribbon scarf Carole Waller
A patchwork silk ribbon scarf which is made up of the beautiful handpainted offcuts which remain after cutting out my clothing pieces. This one is bright lemon yellow at each end with grey, purple, pink, slate and navy. Wearable as a scarf, a belt or and around your hair, its a little dash of colour.
Each garment and scarf by Carole Waller is unique. They are handpainted and screenprinted by me at my studio just outside Bath. I use my fabrics as unprimed ‘canvases’ and the paintings evolve as I work so no two pieces are the same. I welcome visitors anytime, by appointment.
