Claret, gold, fern aluminium cuff Annie Beardsley

This cuff is a one-off piece by Annie Beardsley. Designs are painted onto paper and then transferred to the metal in a heat press.  The images are very painterly and vibrant and make a colourful accent to any outfit. This piece is claret and gold with a fern image and a dusky blue interior, and measures 60 x 185 x 0.5.

The code for this specific piece is AB18 and it is £65 + 1st Class Special Delivery with Royal Mail which will be calculated at the checkout.

Annie Beardsley Jewellery

Annie was originally trained as a sculptor and worked in plaster and clay to make life-size figures.  However, after practicing for some years, she wanted to work on a much smaller scale to match her workspace and resources. She decided to try jewellery making, and found the skills she had learned as a sculptor could easily be applied on a smaller scale.

Her work reflects a long-time interest in colour in jewellery as well as unusual and recycled/repurposed materials.  Annie’s aim is to make creative wearable pieces at reasonable prices. Aluminium jewellery is hand-printed and dyed, and often combined with sterling silver.  It is light-weight, robust, and easy to wear.

Carole Waller art to wear:

Each painted garment and scarf by Carole Waller is unique wearable art – art to wear. My technique is to handpaint each piece at the studio – which is just outside Bath. My fabrics are unprimed ‘canvases’ and the paintings evolve as I work, and consequently no two pieces are the same.

I also make bespoke commissions and would be delighted to work with you to create the style you prefer, in the colours and cloth of your choice. Despite the fact that I cannot colour match,  I can promise you a unique artwork. Visitors are welcome anytime, by appointment.

Waller&Wood.

Waller and Wood is our gallery name from the time we had a retail gallery in Bath between 2015 and 2020. My studio and small showroom is now at our home 4 miles east of Bath on the A4, with good parking and coffee.
