‘Green Block’

Handpainted blue and green linen scarf ‘Green Block’ Carole Waller . This lovely soft open weave linen takes colour like a sponge – the dye seeps into all the fibres to produce an intensity that really is like a painting. This Summer collection is completely abstract – and explores light and colour on a range of fabrics to reveal the dynamics of light, shade and hue. Colours shift and change when worn as movement brings them to life.

This one off piece is painted and screenprinted with interlocking blocks of royal blue, green, bright green, mustard, bright pink, red and navy blue.

‘Green Block’ Linen Scarf Measurements:

215cm/84 x 66cm/26″ Handwash separately and tumble dry or hang to dry. Iron on hot.

Carole Waller art to wear:

Each garment and scarf by Carole Waller is unique. They are handpainted and screenprinted by me at my studio just outside Bath. I use my fabrics as unprimed ‘canvases’, the paintings evolve as I work so no two pieces are the same. Every scarf is signed and you can commission me to make a piece especially for you. I cannot colour match, but I can promise you a unique artwork. I welcome visitors anytime, by appointment. The studio and small showroom is at our home 4 miles east of Bath on the A4, with good parking and a warm welcome. Waller and Wood also shows beautiful stoneware ceramics by Gary Wood.
