This cushion measures 25″ with a feather and down pad. Handpainted with deep aubergine purples, dark blues and greys with softer mustard, olive and peach brush marks. Cotton velvet is a wonderful cloth for cushions – hardwearing and soft to the touch. Dry clean or gentle machine wash and tumble dry.

Each cushion, garment and scarf by Carole Waller is unique. They are handpainted and screen printed by me at my studio just outside Bath. I use my fabrics as unprimed ‘canvases’ and the paintings evolve as I work so no two pieces are the same. I welcome visitors anytime, by appointment. The studio and small showroom is at our home 4 miles east of Bath on the A4, with good parking and a warm welcome. Waller and Wood also shows beautiful stoneware ceramics by Gary Wood.
