The stripe series is part of a collection called ‘The Woman who Knew too much’ in 2020 – and the stripe image was found in Florence on corrugated iron fences and gates into driveways in small streets very close to the Duomo. Photographs I take become images for screenprinting into the painted fabric and each garment is made with its visual compostion very much considered so that each part of the garment or scarf is a certain colour, depending on where it lands on the body.

This is a simple silk scarf in soft Florentine colours: golds, soft pink, yellow, peach, grey, sage and lavender – measuring 45cm/18″ by 178cm/70″. Handwash.
