Crushed silk red and black habotai scarf Carole Waller

This lightweight little colourful crushed silk habotai scarf is creased randomly after washing. It’s reminiscent of seaweed but its colourful, dry, silk…. and can be worn loose or tied into a circle and looped around the neck a couple of times. This one is red, black, magenta, purple and brown.

Handwash and when still slightly damp – tie the scarf into a tight round ball and wind the ball around with string or elastic. Leave to dry out in a warm place to recrease. Adjust the tightness or softness of the creasing with steam from the kettle .

Approximate measurements uncrushed are 200cm/80″ by 55cm/21″ and the crushed effect can give you a variety of sizes.
