A lovely lightweight silk scarf. Crushed silk is wonderful, full of texture and refracted light in the beauty of a mid painted silk habotai . These scarves can be worn long like a necklace or doubled around the neck like a collar which covers the face neatly as a covering over a plain mask. This piece is tomato red with dashes of lime, yellow and gold.
The crushed effect is reinstated when you need to wash the scarf – by hand – and then by screwing it into a tight ball and tying it up with string or elastic, or ribbon – to dry naturally. VERY low maintenance and fun.
