This is a circle scarf made of silk velvet devoré – in other words ‘eaten’ – the velvet is etched with a particular printing techique, removing the pile in the printed areas to create a wonderful textured cloth. This piece has the texture/print – of dots from an photo of etched glass at Francis Bacon’s reconstructed studio in Dublin.

The circle scarf slips over your head and can be worn as a ‘necklace’ or ticked up into the collar of a coat.

Handwash and tumble dry or dry clean.
