This lightweight little turquoise crushed silk habotai scarf is creased randomly after washing! It’s reminiscent of seaweed but its colourful, dry, silk…. and can be worn loose or tied into a circle and looped around the neck a couple of times. This one is turquoise, cobalt blue, deep goldy ochre, lavender and bright lime.
Handwash and when still slightly damp – tie the scarf into a tight round ball and wind the ball around with string or elastic. Leave to dry out in a warm place to recrease. Adjust the tightness or softness of the creasing with steam from the kettle .
Approximate measurements uncrushed are 190cm /74″ by 35cm/14″ and the crushed effect can give you a variety of sizes.
