The circle scarf was developed from a 1950’s Vogue paper pattern – given to me by a friend – and is the most lovely idea.
This one is painted silk viscose velvet in lots of vibrant colours.
It is a soft, colourful, cosy scarf to tuck under a coat on a walk – or to let loose, like a necklace, when you are indoors.
My lovely client, Rosemary, has one or two of these and here is what she says :
‘I have been wearing Carole’s wonderful creations for over 20 years,– to parties, to the opera and indeed to just about every special event, but then I discovered the circular velvet scarves which I now wear over a winter coat every day when I go out for a walk. The colours give me such a boost, they are a real joy to behold, and there is something tactile about the velvet which enhances them.
